Rainy day
The rain these days inspired today's post, an illustration with contrasting tones, gray on the sidewalk, but vivid when reflected in the puddle.
The illustration was first inked with sepia 0.1 multiliner.
The set of colors used is quite full-bodied:
- C1, C3, C5, C7 and BG72 for flooring
- C5 and C7 for the boy's pants
- RV00, RV02, Y02 and C3 for shoes
- BV11, BV13, BV17 for cherry logs and pants reflected in the puddle
- RV00, RV02 and RV55 for cherry blossoms.
- Y02, RV00 and RV02 for the raincoat
- Y00, Y02, YR12 and YR23 for fish
- BG000, BG70, B01 and B02 for the sky
A few touches of Opaque White complete the illustration.
