A celebration of the Chinese New Year with Alciko
Chinese New Year is a special occasion that brings with it fascinating traditions and ancient symbolism.
On this holiday, Alciko created a wonderful drawing using Copic Sketch markers from the Floral Favorites 1 set.This work captures the beauty and magic of this celebration.The year 2024 is the year of the green dragon, which represents wisdom, power and good luck in Chinese culture.
The Floral Favorites 1 set offers 6 vibrant colors that Alciko has expertly used to make the scene even more enchanting.
This set includes 3 pinks:
- VO5 - Azalea: a vibrant fuchsia pink perfect for adding a touch of vibrant color
- RV13 - Tender Pink: a soft and delicate pink, also used as an accent to color the skin
- RV69 - Peony: a deep, bold pink. Here Alciko used it on the dress mostly but also on the hair
Also included in the set is an R01, Pinkish Vanilla, a beautiful color that brings to mind the white petals of vanilla, a plant in the orchid family. Perfect here for the girl's skin. Color that goes well with the sepia of the multiliner used for the outlines of this design.
In addition to the pinks, there are also 2 greens in the set:
- YG41 - Pale Cobalt Green: a light and fresh green
- YG45 - Cobalt Green: a darker, richer green, perfect for the green dragon
